Week 4 Waiver Wire Targets

Try to get ahold of these big-name players in your fantasy football league this week!

Seneca Wallace (SEA, QB)

Poor Wallace: always getting knocked for his lack of size. His matchup against Chicago wasn’t nothing to write home about, but he should continue to improve with more time under center.

Matt Hasselbeck (SEA, QB) will probably miss this weekend’s game against Indianapolis. While Wallace may not be the best start against the Colts, stash him away in the event he continues to find a good groove with Nate Burleson (SEA, WR) and the rest of the receiving core.

Tashard Choice (DAL, RB)

Boy, Dallas sure got a nice deal with Choice. With Felix Jones (DAL, RB) now banged up and Marion Barber (DAL, RB) returning from injury, it’s a good time to pick up a key handcuff in this backfield.

The Denver defense has improved from last season, but if Choice gets a full load of carries, he could turn any fantasy owner a nice profit out of a RB2 or flex position.

Glen Coffee (SF, RB)

Coffee steps into a nice full-time role with Frank Gore (SF, RB) out, and Coffee has proven that he can be an effective runner. Pick him up immediately and don’t hesitate using him this weekend against the weak St. Louis Rams defense.

Maurice Morris (DET, RB)

Kevin Smith (DET, RB) got pretty banged up last Sunday, and will probably not play on Sunday against Chicago. And while he may not light the world on fire, Morris should get enough carries against Chicago to be considered for a flex position.

Bryant Johnson (DET, WR)

The Detroit receiver you probably wanted on draft day was Calvin Johnson, but Bryant Johnson is proving that he can be a viable No. 2 wideout on a team that will probably chuck it early and often.

Matthew Stafford (DET, QB) is looking Johnson’s way fairly often (2nd on team in targets to Calvin Johnson), and he is a nice option for any league. Pick him up if he is available.

Vernon Davis (SF, TE)

Davis has established himself as the go-to guy on the San Francisco offense, and it is clear that Shaun Hill (SF, QB) likes throwing to him.

Davis leads the team with 23 targets to date, and he should continue to see a great amount of looks.
