Quite frankly, no one has any idea.
Per Rotoworld, fourth-string running back Lynell Hamilton (NO, RB) took snaps with the first team at practice.
With Mike Bell (NO, RB) struggling with a MCL injury that will likely keep him out of the lineup and Pierre Thomas (NO, RB) also ailing for Week 3, only Reggie Bush (NO, RB) and Hamilton are actually healthy.
Keep in mind that while Thomas has practiced with the team this week, his knee is still braced and is probably not at full strength.
What does this mean for fantasy owners?
This backfield is quickly becoming a headache, but it does not mean it can be ignored. All fantasy owners who have free agent acquisitions should try to add Hamilton.
In the event Hamilton does take the majority of the snaps at RB on Sunday, he could position himself for carries in future weeks when/if the other New Orleans backs get injured.
Hamilton spent the majority of last season on the New Orleans practice squad. He is a second-year player out of San Diego State University.
A low-risk pickup with some nice upside, Hamilton is a worthwhile add in all formats. He could be a nice immediate consideration for a flex position or RB3 slot.
